
As part of PRIME-K activities in the establishment of a Medical Education Unit and review of medical training curriculum, the University of Nairobi College of Health Sciences invited Prof. Jehu Iputo, Director of the School of Medicine at Walter Sisulu University in South Africa to share his expertise and advice towards this activity. Prof Iputo will be in Nairobi between August 27th and 31st 2012 during which he will meet with key stake holders in the development of the Medical Education Unit and curriculum review process.
Training on Responsible Conduct of Research
The PRIME-K program will be conducting a training on Responsible Conduct of Research under Aim 4 of the program lead by Prof James Machoki M’Imunya. The 3-day training will take place at Silver Springs in Nairobi and targets active as well as aspiring researchers from the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta National Hospital, Ministry of Health and Kenyatta University.
