Mid-term review of the 2015/2016 performance contracts at the College of Health Sciences.
The mid-term evaluation of the College of Health Sciences (CHS) performance contract for the 2015/2016 financial year was carried out on 18th February, 2016, at the School of Medicine boardroom.
The exercise was conducted by the University of Nairobi’s Performance Contract Secretariat under the leadership of Mr. Leonard Musyoka.
The main objective of the exercise was to assess the progress made in achieving the college’s yearly targets as laid out in the performance contract for the 2015/2016 financial year.
Mr. Musyoka urged the key players to put in more efforts in order to achieve and surpass their targets before the end of the financial year, with the College Principal, Prof. Isaac Kibwage assuring him that would be achieved.
The PC indicators that were reviewed include financial and stewardship, service delivery to students, staff, suppliers and members of the public, youth empowerment, safety and security measures.
Others include repairs and maintenance, compliance with statutory obligations and the reservation of 30% worth of tenders to the youth, women, and persons with disabilities, prevention of alcohol and drug abuse, prevention of HIV/AIDS infection, corruption eradication/governance, and national cohesion and national values.
